Sargam School of Indian Music is starting Kathak classes with Purnima Garg, a qualified Kathak teacher, and performer from 8th May 2021 at Blockhouse Bay Community centre. We have some exciting days planned for everyone.

Tabla is a pair of drums. It consists of a small right hand drum called dayan and a larger metal one called bayan. The tabla has an interesting construction. The dayan (right hand drum) is almost always made of wood.
